Open Lines of Communication

God has many open lines of communication:

• The Bible

• Prayer

• Meditation

• Worship

• Inspired teaching

No matter your taste, the Bible has something for you:

√ Self-help and advise: Proverbs

√ Poetry and music: Psalms

√ History: Genesis, Exodus Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Judges, Kings

√ Biography: Job, Esther, Ruth

√ Action/Adventure: Exodus, Joshua, Judges

√ Romance: Song of Solomon

√ The Sciences: Genesis

√ End Times: Revelation, Daniel, Thessalonians

√ Biography: The Gospels, Paul’s letters, Peter’s letters

So, when you say, “I can’t hear from God” that’s not His fault.

Try this: seek a source—one of those lines of communication—you haven’t yet explored.

You may want to avoid certain other lines of communication—those ones that are so prevalent (and growing exponentially, it seems) today. So many beyond the telephone and cellphone. We have e-mail, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TicToc, Twitch, Rumble, you name it.

And the more lines of communication that exist, there is less understanding of one another than ever. People don’t often clearly communicate back-and-forth.

It appears man’s so-intelligent forms of communication lead down the opposite road than God’s do. Vile hatred and uninformed stupidity without thought of consequence. If anyone disagrees, cancel them.

What more proof do we need that when “man” replaces God, the consequences are terrible?

God’s lines of communication lead to love, forgiveness, personal growth, connection, community and so much more.

Man’s? Isolation, hostility and divisiveness and all the destruction that comes with them,

God said in Psalm 50, “You thought I was exactly like you.”

High-minded man proves Him right every day.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Now there’s an open line of communication!
